1. (present participle suffix) -ing. Added to a verb to form the present participle.

   süt ‎(“to bake”) → sütő ‎(“baking”)

   sütőpor ‎(“baking powder”)

Usage notes

• (present participle suffix) Harmonic variants:

  -ó is added to back vowel verbs

  -ő is added to front vowel verbs
