Perhaps a u-type and m-type reduplication of հեղձ- (hełj-) + -ուկ (-uk); compare աղջամուղջ (ałǰamułǰ). Or from հեղձ- (hełj-) + -ա- (-a-) + մղձուկ- (młjuk-).
