“for” + “ever” + “and” + “ever”; arising in the King James Bible, an approximate translation from the Greek εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων ‎(eis toùs aiônas tôn aiṓnōn, “to the aeons of the aeons”) and Hebrew לעולם ועד ‎(“forever and until”).
