Usage notes

• Isn't used as a suffix, but as a separate word:

  ocht - eight

  ocht déag - eighteen

• Items counted are placed before the first word and the second. The word is lenited where the item counted ends in a vowel:

  aon ceann déag - eleven (items/things)

  sé bliana dhéag - sixteen years

  ocht n-úll déag - eighteen apples
