- A black plaster used in traditional Chinese medicine "to dispel wind-cold, soothe the tendons, promote blood circulation and relieve pain in the treatment of rheumatic or rheumatoid arthritis with pain in the shoulders, arms, back and legs and numbness of the limbs and traumatic injuries".
