որպէս • ‎(orpēs)

1. (with accusative) as, the same as, like, almost, according to, conformably, how; when

   որպէս զի‎ ― orpēs zi ― in order that, that, to the end that, so that; because, for

   որպէս թէ‎ ― orpēs tʿē ― as if, as though

   որպէս զիարդ եւ իցէ‎ ― orpēs ziard ew icʿē ― at all events, no matter what happens

   որպէս զիարդ եւ կամք իցեն‎ ― orpēs ziard ew kamkʿ icʿen ― however they may wish, in whatever way one may wish it

   մարդոյ որպէս խոտոյ են աւուրք իւր‎ ― mardoy orpēs xotoy en awurkʿ iwr ― the days of man are like grass

   որպէսն‎ ― orpēsn ― (noun) the why, the wherefore
