հաճոյ • ‎(hačoy) indeclinable

1. agreeable, pleasant, pleasing, complaisant, grateful, acceptable

   հաճոյ լինել‎ ― hačoy linel ― to please, to humour, to agree, to have pleasure

   զի՞նչ հաճոյ է ձեզ‎ ― zi^?nčʿ hačoy ē jez ― what do you think of it?

   որպէս հաճոյ թուեսցի քեզ‎ ― orpēs hačoy tʿuescʿi kʿez ― as you please or choose, as you like

   հաճոյ աչաց հայելոյ‎ ― hačoy ačʿacʿ hayeloy ― comely to the eye

   հաճոյ եղեւ նա աչաց իմոց‎ ― hačoy ełew na ačʿacʿ imocʿ ― he or she pleased me

   հաճոյ թուեցաւ նմա‎ ― hačoy tʿuecʿaw nma ― it pleased him, he thought fit or proper, he approved of it

   հաճոյ եւս էր նմա‎ ― hačoy ews ēr nma ― he preferred

   արա նմա զինչ հաճոյ է առաջի աչաց քոց‎ ― ara nma zinčʿ hačoy ē aṙaǰi ačʿacʿ kʿocʿ ― do with him as you will

Usage notes

This adjective was indeclinable. If it had to be declined, it was replaced by synonymous հաճոյական ‎(hačoyakan) or հաճելի ‎(hačeli).
